OUR PRESIDING OFFICERS OF THE LPA
President: Rob Feagins

Rob Feagins has been with the Lewisville Police Department since 1995. He is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division working persons related crimes. Rob is also a member of the Lewisville Police Department S.W.A.T team.

Rob has been the association president for two terms now, and looks forward to the progress that the association will make.

When asked ...
Rob, If you could sum up why employees of the police department should become members of the LPA, what would that be?

Rob stated "The benefits of a unified voice far outweigh a single voice. We have various jobs, but we all serve one community, and we all serve each other in some aspect. WIth those jobs come various needs, some combined and some individual. As an association, we can express those needs, and work towards presenting options for resolution."

Scott was recently asked "What does being a member of the Association mean for me, the average police officer?"

Scott's reply was  "For officers, the idea of TEAM is important. We rely on each other in our day to day job. We need to know that we, as members of the department, are represented fairly. We have to be able to communicate those needs and unite together."

Secretary: A. Fisher

A. Fisher has been with the Lewisville Police Department since 2001. She is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division working crimes against children. When asked why she joined the LPA, she stated "I joined to unite as officers. We work such varied shifts and unusual days. It is hard to communicate from one shift to another.  We are like family, yet a divided family. We need a way to combine ideas, voice concerns, raise important issues, come together as a group, and to serve together. "

Based on this concern, Fisher joined and was elected to the position of secretary. She is working on a number of ways for members to communicate with each other. The LPA is currently represented on Facebook, Yahoo and now the internet. She can be contacted by
email. (specify Secretary in subject line)

Sergeant at Arms: Ryan Maly

Ryan Maly has been a Lewisville Police Officer since 1998. He is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division and a member of the S.W.A.T entry team. When asked why he became an officer, Ryan stated "I wanted to serve the community in which I grew up making a difference in MY hometown!"

He stated that he joined the Lewisville Police Association "to be a member of an organization that supports the police officers who sacrifice so much to make our community safe"

Rryan agreed that the future of the association depends greatly on membership and officer involvement. "There is no reason not to be involved. This is our home away from home."
